Frances M. Ulman-Authier, age 93, of Tawas City died on Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home. Frances was the youngest child of Frank and Mary (Chestlar) Drzewiecki (Fisher) born on Dec. 22, 1922. She lived in Tawas and worked at several area restaurants before moving to Cibalo, Texas for 20 years, returning to Tawas in 1998. Frances was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memories are sons, Ron (Carol) Ulman of Eaton Rapids, Dale Ulman of Ruskin, Fla. and Michael "Squirrel" Ulman of Tawas City; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Ulman; grandchildren, Lisa, Mark, Elizabeth, Kris, Jennifer, Amy, Michael Jr., Britni, Rick, Amber and Renae; great grandchildren, Michael, Nichole, Kaleb, Alexandria, Gabrielle, Steven, Scott, Sawyer, Ethan, Julia, Isaac, Boone, Ryder and Lucian; and many loving nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margaret Anschuetz, Cecillia Reinke, Helen Ulman and Rose Harris; brothers, Edward, Thomas, Walter and John Fisher; and grandsons, Scott and Steven Ulman. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Holy Family Catholic Church in East Tawas with Reverend Lawrence Boks officiating. The family will receive friends at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the church for funeral masses or .
