Jacqueline L. Nemec, age 84, of Hale died on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1931 to the late Jack and Louis Tarran (nee Margherio). Jacqueline has been a resident of Hale since 1966 and permanently since 1997 when she moved from Sterling Heights. She worked as a switchboard operator at the Central Steel Company for 35 years before retiring in 1997. Jacqueline was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Hale Senior Center. She enjoyed living in Hale and she was an avid reader.Jacqueline is survived by her two sons, Michael (Melanie) Nemec of Groveland, Fla. and Ken (Stephanie) Nemec of St. Clair; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Seidel, Jeremy (April) Nemec, Jeffrey Nemec, Teresa (Kris) Fulk and Dale (Stephanie) Nemec; and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by the love of her life, "Cuddles." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Nemec in 1978; and daughter-in-law, Deadre Nemec in 2013. Funeral services were held on Monday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m. (instate at 10 a.m.) at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hale with Rev. Dean Muhle officiating. Interment followed in Esmond-Evergreen Cemetery in Hale. The family received friends on Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home in Hale, MI.
