James Castañeda, 35, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009. He was born on September 25, 1974 in Yuma. James resided the majority of his life in Kapolei, Hawaii. James was a loving husband, a good father, a wonderful coach, a good friend and hard working man. He was a dedicated father to his two sons, Kaeo and Kaimi, they were his world. James was full of jokes and a man of many, many words, he touched many lives through his humor and antics. He was a huge Denver Broncos fan! James is survived by his fiancé, Lokelani Kalaaukahi; sons, Kaeo and Kaimi; mother, Lupe Campbell and step-father, Joe Campbell; father, Ralph Castañeda and step-mother, Margi Castañeda; brothers, Ralph Jr., and Joshua; sister, Rachel; grandmother, Tomasa Castañeda; future-in-laws, Roger and Esther Kalaaukahi and Roger Kalaaukahi Jr. and Lehua Kalaaukahi; and many uncle, aunts, and cousins. James was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Fernando and Alfred; great-grandmother, Isabel. Services were held in Hawaii on November 20, 2009. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. ALOHA JAMIE!
