It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Johnson, who was born on March 9, 1954, in Port Huron, Michigan. He peacefully left this world on October 15, 2025.

Jerry was the beloved son of King Johnson and Rose Johnson. He is survived by his son, Jerry L Johnson Jr, and leaves behind a legacy of 8 grandchildren.

During his younger years, Jerry attended Port Huron High School and proudly graduated in 1972. After high school, he served in the Navy and traveled the world, gaining invaluable experiences and friendships along the way.

While Jerry was known for his dedication to his country, his true passions lay in cooking and fishing. Whether he was whipping up a delicious meal for his family or spending peaceful days by the water, Jerry found joy in the simple things in life.

He will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends. Rest in peace, Jerry, you will be deeply missed.
