Joanne Boger (nee Bennett) of Whittemore, formerly of Bruce Mines, Ontario, passed away peacefully at home on April 2, 2014 with her children and faithful companion, Boozer, at her side just weeks short of her 70th birthday following a courageous battle with cancer.Joanne was born on April 27, 1944 to Joseph and Evelyn (nee Micks) Bennett. She is survived and will be missed by her children, Doug (Donna) Bennett, Bonnie (Steve) Netherton and Stacey Bennett; grandchildren, Jared, Jamie, Cole, Emma and Erikka; siblings, Maudie (Maxie), Caleb (Sharla), Art (Connie), Rick (Jane), Donna (the late Fred), Reg and the late Tom. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Boger.In honoring her wishes, private cremation has taken place.
