John Morad, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on November 6, 2023, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born on January 1, 1950, John lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of adventure.
Known for his infectious smile and carefree spirit, John was always the life of the party. Whether it was his love for dancing like nobody was watching or his knack for telling hilarious jokes, he had a way of brightening up any room he entered.
John had a passion for travel that took him to far-off destinations and allowed him to immerse himself in different cultures. He was an avid collector of quirky souvenirs, bringing back spoons from every city he visited, much to the amusement of his family and friends.
When he wasn't exploring the world, John could be found cheering passionately for his beloved Wolverines. An avid sports fan, he never missed a game and loved nothing more than donning his team colors and joining in the cheers and chants with his fellow fans.
John had an incredible work ethic and was highly respected in his professional life. He dedicated over three decades to his career as an architect, leaving an indelible mark on the Ann Arbor skyline. From the colorful buildings he designed to the parks he helped create, John's creativity and vision will continue to inspire future generations.
In his free time, John enjoyed playing guitar and singing with his friends in their garage band. While they may not have achieved superstardom, they sure had a lot of fun jamming together and entertaining their families during the neighborhood block parties.
John will be remembered for his unwavering positivity and his ability to find joy in even the smallest of things. His laughter was infectious, and his kindness knew no bounds. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to John's favorite charity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Let's honor John's memory by continuing to spread joy and granting wishes to those who need it most, just as he did throughout his life.
John Morad leaves behind his loving wife, two adoring children, and a multitude of friends who will forever cherish the memories they created together. As we say goodbye, let us remember John's spirit, zest for life, and the everlasting mark he left on our hearts.
