Kathryn "KT" HunterKathryn "KT" Hunter, 91, resident for 65 years of East Lansing, passed away after a short illness on January 16, 2017, at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan.KT, born on November 7, 1925, in Highland Park, Illinois, to William and Florence Einbecker, graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Illinois.KT was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, John M. Hunter, Ph.D., retired Michigan State University economics professor and director of International Studies; and by her sisters Betty Jean Brakke and Margaret Walters.Left to cherish KT's memories are her daughters Judith (Larry Reynolds), Virginia (James Hannen), and Cynthia (Ronald Peabody); grandchildren Sarah Reynolds (Evan Variano), Keith Hannen, Robyn Hall (Bradley Hall), Evangeline Reynolds (David Chen), Paul Reynolds (Maria), Emily Hannen, and Amber Moore (Elliot Moore); great-grandchildren Kathryn and Violet Moore, Grace and Joy Reynolds, and Rylee Hall; her sister Dorothy Feltham; her nieces and nephews; and her loving friends.Memorial gifts in KT's name specifying the Wharton Center may be made out to Michigan State University and sent to University Development, University Advancement, Spartan Way, 535 Chestnut Road, Room 300, East Lansing, MI 48824.
