Khaza Mitchell, 13, of Flint, Michigan, passed on July 19, 2023. Khaza was born on July 29, 2009 the son of Crystal Monica Cooper and Dre Khaza Mitchell Sr.

He was a resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan and attended Carman Ainsworth Middle School, where he was completing the 8th grade. He was in advanced classes, was on the A & B honor roll, and was a member of the 8th grade band playing the clarinet.

He leaves to cherish his memory; father, Dre Khaza Mitchell Sr (Detroit Mi) mother Crystal Monica Cooper; brother Lemar Dre Mitchell all of Flint Mi; sisters Shameqia Deandrea Stacker-Mitchell of Flint Mi; with a host of other special family & relatives.

The Family would like to express special thanks to Detroit Children’s Hospital and everyone for assisting in the homecoming of our beloved Khaza Mitchell.
