Lois E. Warner Quinn, age 76 of Prescott, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw. She was born on Sept. 18, 1939 in Prescott to Orren and Jennie (Lucas) Norton. She lived most of her life in Prescott. She was retired from the Whittemore-Prescott Area Schools after 30 years of service as a para-pro and cook. Lois was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church of Skidway. She volunteered at the St. Francis Food Pantry. She held memberships in the Skidway Lake Lions Club, Skidway Lake Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary Skidway Lake. Lois loved to sing, play the piano and guitar, play cards, travel and go out on the boat. Her main love was her family.Lois is survived by her husband, Jerry Quinn of Prescott; children, Barbara (Mark) Anderson and Bill (Rona) Warner, all of Prescott; grandchildren, Kyle Anderson of Kalamazoo, Cody (Jennifer) Anderson of Lowell and Lucas and Megan Warner of Prescott; many nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Julie Quinn of Sterling Heights, Gerald Quinn Jr. of Eastpointe and Craig Quinn of Warren; step grandchildren and great grandchildren.Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John "Jack" Warner; brothers and sisters, Bill Norton, Jack Norton, Barbara Reminder, Joyce Reetz, Margaret Ann Arndt and Helen Gillings; and niece, Monica Harper.Visitation will take place on Monday, May 2 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 Harrison, Prescott. Services will take place on Tuesday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Skidway Lake with Fr. Joe Ortega officiating. Interment will be in Richland Township Cemetery, Prescott.
