JONES, MARILYN ANN (nee CARON) Age 80, long time resident of Berkley, Mich., died peacefully in her sleep October 30, 2016. She was born on September 1, 1936 in Watersmeet, Mich. to Albert and Marie Matilda Caron. She married Lawrence H. Jones on June 13, 1959. Beloved mother of Bruce (Barbara) Jones, Candice (Doug) Boersen, and Craig (Kelly) Jones, loving grandmother to Mercede Jones, Alissa (Cameron) Couchman, Corey (Ayana) Jones, Conner Jones, Kinsey Jones, and great-grandmother to Henry Bear Jones. She was also survived by her brothers, Edward (Carolyn) Caron, Francis (Barbara) Caron; brother-in-law, Irvine (Gloria) Jones, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, sisters, Mildred and Grace (Tom) Warax; brothers, James (MaryAnn) Caron and Howard (Bonnie) Caron. Marilyn was a devoted fan of all Detroit sports teams. A Memorial in her honor will be held at the American Legion, 2079 12 Mile Road, Berkley, MI 48072, on November 19, 2016 from 12-3 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society, in her memory.
