Mark Eric RadvanskyPort HuronMark Eric Radvansky, 53, Port Huron, MI, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2016 after showing us all how to live with and fight courageously against cancer and other complications.Mark was born on February 5, 1963 in Detroit, the son of John and Jo Ann (Hamilton) Radvansky. He graduated from Capac High School in 1981, where he was a member of the varsity baseball and basketball teams. He attended Grand Valley State College and St. Clair County Community College, earning a dual associate degree in business and microcomputer analysis. Mark worked for McLaren Port Huron Hospital as an emergency room registrar, working beside people he loved and patients he felt privileged to serve.Mark loved his family and friends. He was a tender-hearted Warrior; humor was in his DNA, but never at the expense of others. Mark loved to cook, and was good at it. He threw a Frisbee like "nobody's business," and was a bona fide health nut. He loved watching the Red Wings with Deshon, who he loved like a son. Mark was a rare blend of adventuresome, disciplined and happy-go-lucky, and loved music.Mark will forever be cherished by Roberta Duncan, with whom he shared his heart and life for 16 years; grandchildren of his heart, Deshon Payne and Jayda Williams; his parents John and Jo Ann Radvansky; sister, Michele (Mark) Sherwin, brother John (Maria) Radvansky; brother, Andrew (Lynda) Radvansky; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and amazingly loving and supportive friends.A Memorial service to celebrate Mark's life will be held for family and friends on Sunday, December 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the Blue Water Convention Center, 500 Thomas Edison Parkway, Port Huron, MI 48060.
