We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary Newsted, who left this world on March 26, 2024, at the age of 79. Mary was born on March 14, 1945, in Cleburne, Texas, to her loving parents James Clifford Hicks and Mary Odessa Hicks.

Throughout her life, Mary brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. She leaves behind her partner, Frank W. Newsted, and their eight children: Mary Morgan, Charles Ward, James Ward, Robert Ward, Dennis Ward, Denise Mitchell, Robin Cummings, and Shirley Browne.

Mary was a dedicated homemaker who found joy in crocheting and creating art. Her creativity and talent will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Although Mary has left this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, Mary Newsted.
