Norene Edna HoffmanMarshall, formerly of OlivetNorene Edna Hoffman, age 87, of Marshall and formerly of Olivet died Wednesday, October 25, 2017.Mrs. Hoffman was born on September 3, 1930 in Romeo, Michigan to Guy and Elizabeth (Gray) Farmer.On July 1, 1950, she married Gerald Raymond Hamm. He preceded her in death in 1970. She found love again and on November 1, 1975, she married Robert J. Hoffman. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2002.Mrs. Hoffman attended the Marshall United Methodist Church. While living in Olivet, she was a member of the Olivet Congressional Church from 1956 to 1979.She is survived by daughters, Linda Davis of Marshall, Judy (John) Clark of Marshall and Debra (Rick) Slone of Olivet; a son, Dennis Hamm of California; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Anna Shekowski of Shelby Township; a brother, Burt Farmer of Bruce Township; and numerous nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gerald R. Hamm and Robert J. Hoffman; sisters, Vera Linneburg and Florence Farmer (infant); brothers, Larry, Ray, Leo and Url Farmer; and a grandson, Gerald Dennis Hamm.Visitation will be on Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Marshall United Methodist Church from 2 PM to 3 PM. A memorial service will be held 3 PM at the church. Arrangements are by the Craig K. Kempf Family Funeral Homes, Marshall Chapel.Memorial contributions are to the Marshall United Methodist Church or Oaklawn Hospice Care.
