Patricia Marie LinckBrown CityPatricia Marie Linck, age 96, of Brown City, Michigan passed away and went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 12, 2016. She was born on August 29, 1920 to Frank and Rose Husson and grew up near Carsonville, Michigan. She graduated from Carsonville High School Class of 1937 and later attended Marygrove College. Patricia then worked as the secretary to the Factory Auditor at the Chrysler Corporation DeSoto Plant in Detroit. Immediately following the end of World War II Patricia married Robert Linck on December 29, 1945. They enjoyed over 70 wonderful years together, raising seven children on their farm near Brown City. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, and being with her family, as she was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City, and was an active member of the Sacred Heart Altar Society for many years.Patricia was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Husson, and her husband Robert who passed away on August 25, 2016. She is survived by seven children and sixteen grandchildren - Judith Linck of Sacramento, CA, and grandson Daniel, Mary Pat Linck (Michael Ryan) of Marquette, MI, and grandchildren Russell and James, Bette Nikodemski (Jim) of Colchester, Ct, and grandchildren Nicole and Kristen, Yvonne Osborne (Dave) of Brown City, and grandchildren Melissa and Travis, Christine Linck-Rhodes of Brown City, and grandchildren Jesse, Phillip, Thomas, and Andrew, Catherine Dodge (Lenny) of Palmdale, CA, and grandchild Alisa, John Linck (Barbara) of Brown City, and grandchildren Maria, Jenna, Ethan, and Cecilia. She was also blessed with, and survived by 10 Great Grandchildren.A viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 14, from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City, and a rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 15 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Brown City.Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund or McLaren Hospice services.
