Peter CharlieLansingAge 90, passed away in his sleep and was reunited with his Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. He was born on October 12, 1926 in Lansing, MI to the late Joseph and Najamie Charlie. Pete was a prayerful and faithful servant who loved his radio and classical music. He is survived by his nephews, Joseph (Karen) Charlie and George (Brenda) Charlie; great-nieces, Lisa (Rick) Stafford and Jamie (Jeff) Kernell; great-nephews, Victor (Amy) Charlie and Joseph Charlie Jr, and special friends and caretakers Linda and Russ McQuay and Higinio Rivera.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel with Rev. Fr. Bill Lugger officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Casimir Catholic Church or Meals on Wheels.
