Richard Earl Rudolph Sr, ETCS/SS Retired, passed away on May 22^nd 2019 after a long illness in Forney TX.   He was born in Blytheville AR as the eldest child to George and Elma Rudolph. He completed HS in Mobile Ala. Joined the Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician and went on to become an Electronics Technician submarines. He retired from the US Navy on Aug 23rd 1974 at the Naval Submarine Base NLON. He went on to finish is education with a Bachelor of Arts at Johnson State College in VT. He enjoyed life. He always wanted to get to the bottom on any project or know how something worked. We have followed him through his extrodinary life as a sailor, a restaurant and apartment owner, a New London CT Counsel member, an artist, a farmer, a sailboat captain, a risk taker, a mountain climber, a skier, you name it he had probably tired it. But for his family he is best remembered as a Wonderful husband, Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather with his many BIG smiles and Fantastically long HUGE hugs.  We love you and know you are feeling like your old self now.  God Bless You Dad.
