Ronald Martin DeLeeuw, also known as Ron, or his nickname Slurbow. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 57.

Born on December 14, 1964, to Roelof DeLeeuw and Joan Julia Hunt, Ron lived a full and vibrant life with his family, and his kids, Jamie Lynne DeLeeuw and Ron D Adkins, and three adoring grandchildren, Kaileigh Lynne DeLeeuw, Gordon Lee Hill, and Drake Adkins, and soon another one to come in April 2025.

Ron attended Vicksburg High School, graduating in 1982 before embarking on a successful career as a professional plumber, and helping with construction work. In addition to his work, Ron also proudly served in the Maritime service branch (the navy).

Outside of his professional life, Ron was a man of many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed spending his free time singing karaoke, riding motorcycles, and, surprisingly, cleaning. He enjoyed the band Metallica, and Slow dancing songs.

Unfortunately, Ron's life was cut far too soon, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the joy he brought to those around him. Ronald was a great man and will continue being a wonderful soul through out enteral life.

Rest in peace, Ron. You are dearly missed.
