Ronald Penpraze, age 89, of Oscoda and formerly of Ann Arbor died Monday, May 31, 2010 in East Tawas. He was born on July 3, 1920 in Kearsarge to John and Elizabeth Penpraze (nee Williams). Ronald worked for Buhr Machine Tool for 36 years until his retirement in 1976. He also worked in the Civil Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Ronald enjoyed golfing, bowling, pool leagues and woodworking. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose. Ronald is survived by his children, Ronald (Theresa) of Troy, N.Y. and Nancy (Charles) Cusick of Bay City; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cramer and Marie (Robert) Sleta. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six 3/4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gladys, whom he married in March of 1944 in Ann Arbor; two brothers, John and Leslie; his sister, Marion; and his parents, William and Elizabeth.
