We are saddened to announce the passing of Shelby Johnson, a warm-hearted, intelligent, and loving individual known by many. Shelby was born on April 16, 1992, and departed from this world far too soon, on June 27, 2024.

Shelby is survived by a loving and extensive family: Her mother, May Johnson; her father and bonus mother, Robert and Carrie Bradshaw; her sisters, Korey Goodyear and Juli Johnson; her brothers, Kyle Bradshaw, Kristian Bradshaw and Robbie Johnson; her sons, Logan and Eli Johnson; and her many nieces and nephews.

Known for her joy in the small delights of life, Shelby will be fondly remembered for her love of simple pleasures, such as sipping on an ice cold sweet tea on any given day with a book in her hand. Her passion for travel led her to many places, but she held a particular fondness for the sun-soaked beaches of Cancun. The color blue, like the clear Cancun sky, was her favorite, reflecting her calm and peaceful spirit.

Shelby's wisdom resided in a simple but profound truth; that "you can have it all, just not all at once," a lesson she shared often, inspiring patience and resilience in others. Her legacy is one of love and respect, a testament to the beautiful soul she was.

Her absence leaves an echoing silence, but her memory fills our hearts. May we celebrate Shelby Johnson's life, remembering her not just for the loss we feel, but for the love she shared and the life she lived so graciously. Rest in peace, dear Shelby, you will be forever missed.

There will be a private celebration of life held in Portage, MI on July 2, 2024. Please contact the family with any questions regarding the celebration of life. They do ask for privacy pertaining to her death.
