Stella M. (Sims) Whiteside, resident of Muskegon Mi. Passed away, March 12, 2019 at Henery Ford Hospital, Detroit Michigan.
She was born in Magnolia AR, June 14, 1950 The daughter of James and Esadore Sims. Stella attended Muskegon Heights High School, Muskegon Community College with an Assoc. Degree in Computer Programing and also Grandvalley State University studing in Business/Management.
Stella was married to Roderick I Anthony III,
Stella was a faithful member of Spring Street Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor DeWayne Banks.
She was employed by General Electric for 25 yrs. She also Managed Lane Byant Clothing Store in Muskegon Michigan. Stella retired in 1999 from Lane Bryant.
Stella loved her suits. She loved to dress, her favorite saying, "A Lady should dress like a lady at All times". She loved her family dearly. Stella was full of laughter and her williness for helping others will be dearly missed. She love to go to the beach (Lake Michigan) to watch the waves and sunset. Stella loved,loved, loved to go shopping, if you couldn't find her she probably was in a store.
Stella loved the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sons, Andre' D. Anthony (Ltonya) and Roderick D. Anthony both of Muskegon,Michigan; And five brothers, James Edward Sims of Muskegon, Michigan; Lee James Curry of Milwaukee,WS Michael Williams of Muskegon, MI; Marshall Johnson Muskegon, MI; and Billy Wayne Johnson of Muskegon; One sister Alice Faye Sims of Chicago, Ill.
