Tammy Lee Town of Otsego, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2017. She was born in Plainwell, Michigan to Robert and Berthia (McLain) Wright.
Tammy graduated from Plainwell High School in 1979. She was a natural caregiver who dedicated her life to caring for family in need. She really enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, camping and going to the lake during the summer.
Tammy was a special education school bus driver for Otsego Public Schools for many years, as well as, a caregiver for developmentally and physically disabled adults in an adult foster care home. More recently, she was a caregiver at William Crispe Community House, where she will be dearly missed by the residents and her coworkers.
Surviving are her significant other of 40 years, Tim Town; children, Jamie Town and Elena (Steven) Strickfaden; sister, Annette (Tom) Smith; brothers, Brad (Linda) Wright and Tim Wright; grandchildren, James Town, Rhett Town, Hayden Strickfaden, and Cooper Strickfaden. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert.
A service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held at The First Congregational Church in Otsego on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial of her ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetary in Otsego.
