Vincent Joseph Weiler Jr., of Oscoda and Concord, N.C., passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 at Saginaw St. Mary's Medical Center, age 71 years. Vincent was born on Feb. 8, 1944 in Saginaw to Vincent J. and Cathryn (Hunter) Weiler Sr. He graduated from Saginaw St. Stevens Peter and Paul High School, Class of 1963, and then continued his education at Delta College where he majored in television production. He was a founding member of the community theaters for the Shoreline Players and Tawas Bay Players. Vincent remained very active in the theater groups and was the former CTAM president. He worked for Iosco RESA as a transportation director for many years until his retirement. He will always be remembered for his love and commitment to his communities and how he truly enjoyed working with and meeting new people. Vincent was a member of Oscoda United Methodist Church for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Suszek of Oscoda, whom he married in 1990 in Northville. Vincent is also survived by four loving children, Marc (Lisa) Weiler, Christine (Marc) Archambault, Denise (Dennis) Bradley and Kevin (Nikki) Suszek; seven grandchildren, Zoe, Johnathon, Katherine, Ashley, Khristian, Blake and Kaydence; and many close and special friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 11 a.m. at Oscoda United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Seitz officiating. His family will welcome friends at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
