Willia Faye BevelBattle Creek, MIWillia Faye Bevel, 77, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on June 20, 1940, the daughter of Chester Jenkins and Loretha (Pierce) Jenkins.Faye was very active at the Upton Avenue Original Church of God, she was President of the Nurses Board, a member of the Mothers Board, Senior Choir, UMCA Mass Choir, Anniversary Committee and the Missionaries and taught Sunday School. She was also active on the Federal Center Bowling League.Faye is survived by her Husband of 52 years - David Bevel of Battle Creek, Michigan; Two Daughters, Kimberly A. Nichols of Battle Creek, MI, Daphne D. Bevel of Battle Creek, MI; Sister, Emma J. (Charles) Smith of Alexandria, VA; Two Grandsons, Michael A. (Mercedes) Nichols, Marco A. Nichols; Three Granddaughters, Danielle N. Bevel, J'Leace A. Nichols, Loretha A. McDonald and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Loretha Jenkins, Father, Chester Jenkins Sr., Sister, Yvonne Campbell, Brother, CL Jenkins, Brother, Chester (Surviving Spouse Yvonne) Jenkins, Jr., Brother, Robert L. Jenkins, Brother, Glen E. Jackson.Faye could pass time with her crossword puzzles. She enjoyed playing video games with her children and grandchildren. She loved bowling, singing, reading and watching wrestling in her spare time.
